Today herd management is a growing business. The difference is that the herds are comprised of people who are managed by corporations and governments. Corporations like Google and Facebook specialize in corralling large aggregations of people and then manage their behavior for profit. Governments and political parties gain the loyalty of constituents and then trick them into promoting their own poverty. Americans are happy with this system because they are lazy and prefer to economize on thinking.
