First Amendment Ghettos

I began using technology during the 80s before the internet evolved. I wasn’t the first guy to get on the internet. Statistically, I was pretty early. The internet early on was a picture of good will. Companies like AOL sprung up. At first very few women were online but they came along. Conversation was open and vibrant. In the beginning, the internet served as a great equalizer. Information freely flowed from person to person. Ordinary people were in charge. A search engine was a search engine and truly performed the function search engines were expected to perform.

Google was a search engine with a do no harm philosophy. Folks bought into it and Google grew by leaps and bounds.  With each day that passed, Google did more and more harm.

Later on, MySpace emerged. Wow, folks had a way to advertise themselves and all they were interested in. They could say whatever the First Amendment allowed  them to say. MySpace was mostly open and honest. The honest approach ran them out of business.

Facebook took over. From day one, Facebook was far more restrictive than MySpace ever was. It was incredibly easy to set up and use. That did MySpace in.

The world went mobile as it was encouraged to do. Now, everyone is connected and available to be manipulated. They are manipulated.

The internet changed from a venue where people could freely interact and trade ideas – to become the greatest human herding tool mankind could ever imagine. Anything that works against the business model of social media companies is now censored. Consumers no longer decide what they buy. Larger entities do that for them and squelch anyone and everything that threatens any & all that they do.

Certain folks such as myself and many others became concerned that their First Amendment rights were being violated. This put pressure on social media companies and most of corporate America which by this time had developed symbiotic relationships with social media, politicians and governments around the world.  All just mentioned , developed symbiotic relationships. All in power now have a vested interest in squelching for profit, the First Amendment rights of ordinary people.

Certain folks got worried and alarmed that their First Amendment rights were being squelched. This put pressure on truth – squelching corporate America, the government…. politicians and most importantly, the huge global organized crime syndicate which manages them all. There was a solution of course.

Here come the First Amendment ghettos. This is where free speech lovers can mercerize their First Amendment rights. They hear each other, cheer that the truth is coming out, and imagine that as soon as everyone knows, the country will turn around. What and who are the First Amendment ghettos? We have Rumble and Odyssey. Then we have YouTube channels like Redacted. They openly chastise YouTube for censorship and direct their viewers over to Rumble. That way viewers have ads from both channels flashed before their naive eyes. Tell me that YouTube doesn’t love this. I am betting that big tech had a huge role in developing the First Amendment ghettos. That way all of their detractors are isolated and quarantined. Hardly a soul hears them other than the like – minded who are already convinced.

What this constitutes is political masturbation. Suppose the elite of the world decided  that the world was over populated and childbirth needed to be reduced. Then suppose they made sure that ordinary folk only masturbated and never had intercourse. The population would shrink.

What the First Amendment ghettos accomplish is to provide places where free speaking citizens can practice political masturbation. Their thoughts and views never leave the First Amendment ghettos – even while the participants cheer each other on…. all the while deluded into thinking they are having an influence.

You want to exercise your right to free speech. Go live in the First Amendment ghettos and speak your heart out. Free speech is legal there.

Note: Fantasy Free Economics is banned in the United States.  I am now hosting with Smartway, which is offshore.  From the positive results I have gotten, I would host with them regardless.  I encourage all to ask themselves – have you ever read anything here on Fantasy Free Economics that could be deemed unfit for the common person to read?  Is there any content that is a threat to national security?

The only way to rebuild the readership of Fantasy Free Economics is for those who read it to share the link to the blog and certain articles. Email is best. It cannot be censored.  There are still sites which accept the link.  Try it and see.

James Quillian is not Tucker Carlson. I wish him well – as I hope all do. When a famous person get censored, he has the resources to make hay over the situation.  I have no such resources. I must be frugal – just to meet my expenses. If you like these ideas, I hope you will participate by at least sharing the link.

The Fantasy Free Advantage is  a PDF book explains the reasoning behind the fantasy free approach.
