Sociopaths have no defense against ridicule. Donald Trump understands this, even though he is a sociopath himself. A sociopath has no conscience but is terrified at being exposed as a phony. Look at how Trump’s detractors have ended up being diminished. The ridicule has to be true and well focused. If it is not, it is counter productive. Trump started his campaign out by telling the truth. This was highly risky for a politician.
