Gross Domestic Product doesn’t need you and neither does Wall Street. Your favorite politician doesn’t need you for anything but a vote and for that, you are easy because your opinion is easily managed. You are expendable to corporate America because there are consumers all over the globe. Your standard of living can continue to sink while the economy grows. If there is poverty at home corporations will just sell somewhere else. This is the result of decades of central economic planning. Where there is central economic planning money eventually flows to the top. Socialism can’t fix this. Socialism has caused the problem.
Is there a solution? Yes, the solution is for you to stop being a sucker.
