One of the first lessons a child learns is to trust first and ask questions later. Of course, the founding fathers did not intend for it to be that way.
In all of life, Americans are encouraged to establish arbitrary loyalties. Let’s all support the home team! What is the matter with you? This is your town. Get out there and show some support for our team. While we are on the subject, where is your school spirit? In the sixties it was commonly said, “right or wrong, it’s my country.” Buy U.S.A’! What is the matter with you being so unpatriotic? Finally, you have to trust your government! “There is no way I am going to criticize the United States. You are just one of these blame America first people.” Once arbitrary loyalties are established extracting people’s time and energy for a fraction of what it is worth is short work. There is no need to learn how to screw the American people. That is a skill they already possess. Just watch as they are screwing themselves. |
