The Impending Recession Joke

Unlike what is practiced in mainstream economics, thinking is allowed in Fantasy Free Economics. Oh my God, is a recession coming? Expect soft landing and such. No recession yet, just look at GDP.  Here are some typical recent headlines.

ECONOMY SURGED IN THIRD QUARTER
RECESSION WARNINGS ABOUND
A RECESSION IS STILL LIKELY. HERE ARE 6 REASONS WHY

Now, folks, for sure, don’t look at any evidence showing up in everyday life. Certainly, don’t take any precautions on a personal level. Be prudent, wait until an expert advises you that yes, the economy has entered Continue reading

Defying Authority Article

I frequently refer to The Milgram experiment of the 1960s as proof of how ordinary people are prone to trust and follow authority. The Burning Platform site clearly explains how the results of this study apply perfectly to the situation we face in the world today. My own contention is that all of public life is driven by instinctive behaviors, although sentient thought is always assumed. One of those instinctive propensities is expertly explained in the article in the link below. I hope you will read it. It explains a lot.

3rd Grade Math & Stock Market

The long expected short squeeze has been delivered. CPI came in with a highly manicured, expertly engineered surprise number at exactly the right time. What a coincidence that is. I am telling you a surprise number in a government statistic is an impossibility. In a not-orchestrated short squeeze, the averages don’t rocket up and then get stabilized for the rest of the trading day trying to draw in believers.

Think about this. Total capitulation of all publicly traded stocks is about 93 trillion $.
63 trillion of that is held by our betters. Why would they sell? That would destroy their goal of consolidating the world’s assets into their hands and managing all of the world’s people. Continue reading

At Least She Knows She is a Socialist

The phenomenon of young Americans turning to classic socialism is interesting. Even more interesting than that is the fact that their critics are unaware they are socialists themselves. https://quillian.net/blog/young-socialists/

Socialism is defined in a number of different ways. In a free market economy, a price system determines how goods, services and resources are rationed.  Any economy that is not free market based is a form of economics by force. Our former price system in the united states has been replaced by a system of allocating resources according to political power.

The critics of the classic socialists are socialists themselves. Without fail, they are Americans who reap great rewards by virtue of the political power their socioeconomic class possesses. Politics in the United States has turned out to be a game of “Look at them. Don’t look at me.” In the meantime wealth continues to be extracted out of the bottom of the food chain, and due to political power channeled to the top.

What you are hearing from the right is, “Pay me just because I exist but make sure free market principles are applied to everyone at the bottom of the food chain. So many Americans are conveniently unaware that they, not those they criticize are the problem.

Where are the free market people? If there were any, you would see them. How is a free market person recognized. A free market person is taking demonstrative action to repeal laws and close government agencies. If the day ever comes when you see that role occupied, you will have seen a free market person.

The socialism for the rich camp is well entrenched and not going anywhere any time soon. They don’t want to share their spoils with the people on the bottom so they call themselves capitalists while functioning as top down socialists. All would benefit by a free market system but that idea is not treated as an option.

The truth is a hard sell. Fantasy Free Economics gains readers one at a time. Major search engines simply do not list blogs which disagree with their political agenda. As long as folks share the link to this blog and others speaking out against the grain, the truth will at least trickle into the public consciousness.

Times Are Getting Weird

In 2009 I  wrote this song. At that time, I never thought that it would become as prophetic as it is turning out to be,  The system didn’t collapse in 2009. The country switched to what functions about the same as a wartime economy. Demand increases, GDP increases but demand is generated by edict, instead of being born of actual bill paying people. That has bought time for the economy. Now we must face what we avoided facing in 2009, but at a much higher price.

Stock Market Now Through Santa Clause Season 2023

This article can be taken as a continuation to what was written early in October as well as others early this fall.Stock Market Update 10/02/23.

From that article,”I can tell you this. Anytime the averages are sitting on a long term trendline that everyone is focused on, watch out for the short squeeze.  Watch out for the news announcement.  The time will come when all of this stops working. All I can say today is; expect a stunt or a series of them ….because it will happen.” Impending Stock Market Stunt,  Aug 28, 2023

The period of traditional fall weakness is now over. Continue reading

Hamas Israel and Stunt

I am certain all are aware of the surprise attack on Israel that is in the news this morning.  Long time readers may remember my article making the case that we are in a situation where modern means have replaced using the military to accomplish such goals.   How to Take Over the World in the Modern Era  I make the case that we are in such a process currently.

When things like this happen, folks take these events at face value, believe the news coverage and never ask any questions. Ask a few questions and a number of possible pictures can emerge. Continue reading
